Share Your Memories

We would love to hear from you about happy times spent at the Corn Exchange.

Hundreds of people enjoyed dancing, listening to rock and roll and jazz, playing bingo and socialising at the Corn Exchange over the years. Perhaps you remember seeing Jerry Lee Lewis, or the Stones, or perhaps you worked for Norman Jacobs or his brother? Maybe you are trying to find an old bingo friend you have lost contact with. Please get in touch so we can preserve your memories for the future. You can comment below so other people can read your memories. Your email address won’t be shown. We would love to see your photos too, but can only receive these via post or email. You are very welcome to email us at info@wcxct.org. If you would like to write to us our postal address is Wisbech Corn Exchange Conservation Trust, c/o Community Base, 113 Queens Road, Brighton BN1 3XG.

  1. My favourite person and I are in the process of moving to the Wisbech area from my home town of Cambridge, as Wisbech was where he grew up. I am so pleased that this beautiful old building is going to be restored to all it’s former glory, and I wish you all the luck in the world with the project ! From Kate.
